Allen J. Minghella, 65 a lifelong resident of Stoneham died at his home on Sunday July 5. Born in Stoneham December 18, 1954 he was the son of the late Alfonso and Priscilla (Millet) Minghella. Allen was a graduate of Northeast Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield where he studied Automotive. Allen was a well known Auto Mechanic and Tow Truck operator for many years in Stoneham. He loved to spend time with his children and his beloved grandchildren who affectionately called him "Grampy". Allen was the husband of the late Kathleen (Bennett) Minghella and is survived by his 3 sons; Allen Minghella Jr. of Amesbury, Michael Minghella and wife Rachel of Stoneham and Jeffrey Minghella and wife Molly of Reading, his 6 grandchildren, Dominic, Noah, Lucas, Sarah, Cecilia and Bennett. He is also survived by his sisters Andrea Minghella of Londonderry, NH, Felicia Gauthier of Peabody and his brother Gary Minghella of Haverhill. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. Because of the Covid 19 restrictions we kindly ask people to wear a mask, greet the family and exit the building so others may enter.

even through I Never meet Allen in person, I loved working with him.. I Disputed call to him when he worked with AAA. We always talked over the air and laughed and Joked all the time. He was my go to Person if I had any towing question I knew he would have a answer for me on the best equipment or truck to get a tow job done. I will miss him Annie.
