Anthony Daranda

Anthony Daranda graduate of St. Augustine class of 74 and Southern University departed this life on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the age of 64. Devoted husband of Enola R. Daranda. Son of Oace and Marshall Daranda, Sr. Devoted father of Kellen (Jessica) Daranda and Justin (Staci-Lyn) Daranda. Brother of Jacquelyn Brown, Marshall J. Daranda, Jr., Josephine Daranda Bechet, Francis Daranda, Stephen (Johanna) Daranda, Rachel Daranda Wiltz, and Bernadette Daranda. Grandfather of Kaiden Daranda, Blaise Daranda, and Santana Daranda. Brother-in-law of Aleta Laurent, Karen Glapion, Samella Rawles, Kirk Rawles, and Michael (Janice) Rawles. Anthony is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, priest and parishioners of St. David Catholic Church, also officers and members of IBEW Local #130, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at St. David Catholic Church, 5617 St. Claude Ave. on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 12: 00 pm. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery. As mandated by the State of Louisiana due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance is limited.
