My four kiddos and I would see Audrey a couple times a week to help with a few things around her apartment. She always had such a great personality and way with talking to my kids about their interests. I am happy she spent time close to family the last few months. Prayers to your family from ours, Carin Moore...and especially love from Jack, Sam, Mabel, and Billy.

I came to know Audrey only in the last two or three years when I drove her to the occasional doctor appointment.
I found her to be warm and personable -- a lovely person to spend time with.
She spoke about her nieces and how she enjoyed their company.
I'll miss her gentle, unassuming spirit.

Miss Kalafatich was the Head Nurse on Division 8 (Peds for younger children), at St. Louis City Hospital, when I was a student nurse at St. Louis City Hospital School of Nursing, in 1957. She was a most caring, and conscientious nurse with the small children that were in her care. She was the model for the nurse, I wanted to become.
