Barbara C. Gurcak

Barbara C. (nee Fluck) Gurcak, 73, of Clifton passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 at home with her family by her side. Born and raised in Atlantic City, Mrs. Gurcak moved to Clifton after her wedding in 1964 where she has resided since. Mrs. Gurcak was a customer service representative for Popular Club Plan, Garfield for 33 years before her retirement. She was a faithful parishioner of Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, Clifton and was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokols. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter Henry Fluck and Margaret Agnes (nee Redmond) Fluck; her brother, John Fluck; and her sister-in-law, Debbie Fluck. Survivors include: her husband, Daniel J. Gurcak, Sr.; her daughter, Theresa A. Pascale and her husband, Andrew of Parsippany; her son, Daniel M. Gurcak, Jr. of Clifton; her sister, Margaret A. Fluck of Clifton; and five grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Stephanie, Jacqueline and Andrew. Funeral Services are 9:15 am Thursday from Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton and 10:00 am Mass at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 218 Ackerman Ave., Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting hours Wednesday 1:00 - 3:00 pm & 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
