I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was our neighbor in Midland in 1989 and the first to welcome us to the neighborhood. I sent her a Christmas card each year and she always responded.

I have the best memories of you Bente. Playing cards, drinking spiked eggnog and having fun with you whether it was in Midland or Austin. I will always keep the beautiful cardigan you made for Annie. Lena's right - you made treasures!
