Bernice E. Petrusha, age 97, of Beaver Dam, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. The visitation will be at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The funeral service will follow at the church on Saturday at 12:00 noon with Rev. Philip Heyer officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam and a lunch will be served at the church. Bernice E. (Kamrath) Petrusha was born on September 10, 1921 to Arthur and Mathilda (Gentz) Kamrath in the Town of Oak Grove, Wisconsin. She attended St. John's Lutheran School in Juneau, and she graduated from Juneau High School. Bernice married Carl Petrusha on September 15, 1945 in Beaver Dam. Bernice worked for Kolb Flowers, Kinne's City Floral, Beaver Floral Co., Gene's Floral Shop, and Wodill Florist's, and she loved making special arrangements for her family and friends. She also enjoyed having flowers in her yard. Bernice relished the time spent with her son, Wayne, traveling to Mexico and many trips to different places with her special high school friend, Dorothy (Nehls) Guse. Bernice was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church and she was a member of the "Mission Aid". She was a member of the DAV of Beaver Dam. Bernice is survived by her son, Wayne (Amalia) Petrusha of Milwaukee. She is also survived by one brother, Arthur Kamrath of Beaver Dam and nieces, Joyce Kamrath, Lois Kamrath, Barbara (Kamrath) Homan, and Sandy (Kamrath) Bishop; a nephew, Tom Kamrath; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; five brothers, Raymond, Edgar, Melvin, Wilmer, and Gilbert; three sisters, Verna Kamrath, Gertrude Kamrath, and Irene Falk; and nephews, Don Kamrath and Eugene Kamrath. Memorials may be made in Bernice's name to St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church.
