As one of the Clark girls on McCall Lane, my first memory of our neighbor, Betty, was how she rode her bike like the wind, up to the end of the road....so fast for an older lady!! Betty had a quick smile and eyes that lit up when she saw you...and always a welcoming hug. She loved having all of us girls up to her place, walks to the upper barns and around the little pond. She had a special bond with our mother that lasted years and years.
What a sweet lady she was. I am so glad to have these and many more memories of Betty. Sending hugs and prayers to her family....Betty will always have a special place in our family's heart!

I am one of John and Betty Clark's four daughters who grew up just down the lane from Mrs. Sudyka. Lots and lots of memories, she was such a special friend to our mom, and we loved her so much. For some reason one day we didn't have electricity and Mrs. Sudyka did, so we ran up to her house to finish sewing my prom dress, such an emergency. Ice skating on the pond, swimming in the pond, lots of visits back and forth, seeing her coming and going on her bicycle. I will never forget her. May she rest in peace.

We lived just south of Betty in the sixties and seventies and loved her as you would your mother. Our 4daughters grew up and cherish the memories of her. God bless her soul in heaven.
