Camille D. (Pizzello) Kerkorian

SALEM-Mrs. Camille (Pizzello) Kerkorian, 85, of Salem, beloved wife of the late Samuel Kerkorian, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 22, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Thomasina (Camarda) Pizzello. Camille was a graduate of Salem High School and worked as a telephone operator at New England Telephone Company before she retired. After her retirement and before her husband passed away, they travelled regularly to Aruba and other warm places. She loved her family and though she had no children, she doted on her nieces and nephews and their children. She never forgot a birthday or special event in their lives. Some of her nieces and nephews lived far away, but she kept in touch with all of them and loved hearing about their lives and their families. Camille was an avid reader and enjoyed adult coloring when she was introduced to it. She had a gift for choosing beautiful colors and making each picture a work of art. She loved going to lunch and dinner with family and friends and especially loved the hot fudge sundae that she usually ordered for dessert (with extra hot fudge). She had wonderful neighbors who watched out for her and would have wanted her family to acknowledge them and their kindness for her over the years. Camille leaves her brother, Paul Pizzello and his wife Joan of Salem, her sister, Joanne Theriault of Beverly and her brother, Thomas Pizzello and his wife Deidre of Goodyear, AZ. She also leaves her much loved nephews and nieces and their families; Paul and Kelly Theriault of Danvers and their daughters, Shannon and Nicole; Pamela Steward of Beverly and her children, Taylor, Brooke and Ethan and Brooke's daughter Leia; Donna and Mark Mancinelli of Peabody and their daughters, Shauna, Samantha and Sienna. Also Stephen Pizzello and Delphine Figueras of North Hollywood, CA and their sons, Nicholas, Matthew and Tommy; Christopher Pizzello and Veronica Jauriqui of Los Feliz, CA and their son, Benjamin; Elizabeth and Bryan Bussone of Goodyear, AZ and their children, Leo and Daphne; Kathleen Pizzello of Beverly and Rebecca Pizzello of Hermosa Beach, CA. Camille will also be missed by her longtime friend Marie Munroe. Camille was predeceased by her brother-in-law Kenneth Theriault. ARRANGEMENTS: At Camille's request all services are private.
