Cecile A. (Masse) Lisay

Cecile Alice (Masse) Lisay entered eternal rest on February 24, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Lisay Sr., who died October 12, 2011, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Lowell on November 4, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Henri and the late Yvonne (Lafontaine) Masse. She was a lifelong resident of Lowell. Cecile was a graduate of St Louis School and Lowell Trade School before owning Sylvia's Beauty Salon in downtown Lowell during the 1950's and 60's. Cecile was a humble woman. She loved being a mother and enjoyed being home and having her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren visit her. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was a long time member of the Polish American Veteran Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Linda Whitney of Lowell, Sandra Gervais and her partner Al Kinney of Tyngsboro, Joyce Terris and her husband George of Tewksbury and Steven Lisay and his wife Catherine of Fort Myers Beach, Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sarah Whitney, Danielle Plourde and her husband Robert, Jennifer Correa and her husband Jamie, Shelley Wrobel and her husband John, Christine Kydd and her husband John, Joanne Gervais and her fiance DJ Weingarten, Megan Lisay and her fiance Andrew Somerville, Shaun Lisay, her great-grandchildren Terrance and Zachary Shepherd; Jillian, Jocelyn and Jude Correa; Brooklynn and Madison DeGrechie; Kaylee Plourde, John Kydd and Maci Wrobel as well as her sister Beatrice Daigle and her husband Maurice. Cecile has now joined her loving husband Eddie, her sons Edward Jr and Joseph, her grandson Robert Terris, and her sister Bernadette (Masse) (Stacy) Gregory in heaven.
