Charles Sheire

Charles Landers Sheire, son of Edward and Catherine (Landers) Sheire, was born December 21, 1930 in Morris, Minnesota, where he grew up. He began his schooling at Morris Elementary and graduated from Morris High School in 1948. Following his schooling, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving until August of 1954. Upon his discharge, he moved to St. Paul, where he worked at the University of Minnesota. He then moved to Des Moines, Iowa, where he did repair and maintenance on X-Ray machines. Charles retired in 2008 and moved back to Morris, where he has continued to live until the time of his death. He was a member of the NRA and he enjoyed computers, camping and R’ving.

 

Charles died on Monday, October 13, 2008 at his home in Morris, having lived to reach the age of 77 years.

 

He is survived by two nephews: Gary (fiancé: Jennifer) Sheire of Lake Elsinore, CA and Scott (Mary) Sheire of Burton, SC; two nieces: Carol (Keith) Hurysz of Bothell, WA and Denise (Bill) Conger of West Seattle, WA and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Donald Sheire.

 

Serving as pallbearers are Charles’s family and friends. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
