Claire Mazzochette, 86, of Cherry Hill, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 26, 2014. Born in Philadelphia to the late George and Mary (Duffy) Walsh, Claire was a former resident of Pennsauken before moving to Cherry Hill. Claire was a Catholic grammar school teacher at St. Peter's in Merchantville and St. Cecilia's in Pennsauken for 47 years. She was a graduate of Rowan University (Glassboro State College). Claire was member of the Third Order of Franciscans. She enjoyed traveling, music and dancing. She is predeceased by Warren "Bud" Mazzochette; son Thomas Mazzochette; and brother Bobby Walsh. She leaves behind to carry on her legacy, her children Linda (Kevin) Hughes, Dr. John (Sadie) Mazzochette, Joseph (Kim) Mazzochette, Warren (Mary K.) Mazzochette and Claire Marie (Steve) DiNardo; grandchildren Colleen, Carolyn, Laura, Pilar, Anthony, Nicholas, Isabella, Eileen, Mark, John, Matthew, Luke, Warren, Wyatt, Leo, Joseph and George; great granddaughter Evangeline; sister Sharon (Don) Watson as well as many nieces and nephews and dear friend Tom Farrington. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6-8PM at Inglesby & Sons Funeral Home, 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken NJ 08109. Relatives and friends are invited to gather 10AM on Friday, January 31, 2014 at St. Thomas More Church, 1439 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill NJ 08003 for a Funeral Mass. Claire will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to The Arc- For People With Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, 215 W.White Horse Pike Berlin, New Jersey 08009 or http://www.arccamden.org
