So sorry for your loss. I paraded with Ed back in the 60's before I when into the Navy. Ed and my father were friend and paraded in the Kingsmen N.Y.B. together when he was Captain. I would see Ed over the years and he was always the same, a GREAT guy and gentleman. We would wish each other good luck and Happy New Years. We the Mummers have lost one of the great mummers and friends. From Golden Crown N.Y.B., You are In my Prayers and Thoughts. Bill Burke Jr.

I am truly sorry to hear that Edward has fallen asleep in death. May he sleep peacefully until Jesus calls him to be resurrected and to rejoin family and friends (Jo 3:16). Please accept my condolences. Andrew

One of the added benefits to getting married to Francie was joining her family and having the honor of meeting one of the nicest, most outgoing people I ever encountered. Uncle Ed had a way of making people feel welcome.
I never remember a time when I did not smile while I was around him.
He was certainly special.A great Father, a great Uncle, and a great friend.
Our loss is Heavens gain....

We will all miss him. My Dad was really proud of Uncle Ed and all that he was able to accomplish. My mother has known Uncle Ed since he was six years old! My Mom cannot attend the funeral, but sends her prayers and condolences. We are all praying for his soul and for your entire family. Uncle Eddie had a wonderful spirit and we all loved him, and happily, he loved us! Such wonderful family memories...
