Eleodora Capuno Fondevilla, 76, of Charleston, SC, wife of Oscar M. Fondevilla, entered into eternal rest Monday, July 26, 2021. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, in St. Joseph Catholic Church at 12:30 pm (ET). Rite of committal will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, July 31, 2021, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, with the rosary being recited from 7:30 to 8:00 pm. Eleodora was born December 4, 1944 in Batangas, Philippines. She is the daughter of the late Anthonio Capuno and the late Rosario Manzanero. She graduated from Roosevelt College with a Major in Education. Eleodora was a small business entrepreneur, owning a variety store in Concepcion Marikina, Philippines. She migrated to the US in 1998 and worked as a dietician at Roper Hospital. Eleodora enjoyed cooking Filipino dishes, spent leisure time chatting with her siblings, relatives, and friends. She loves gardening, weekly visits to garage sales, and watching Filipino telenovelas. She is a loving grandmother, a generous sister, a supportive aunt and a caring and hardworking mother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Elaine (Lloyd) Mercado, Mary Grace (Wayne) Sembrano, Christian Fondevilla, and Marc (Cynthia) Fondevilla, and grandchildren, Lance Gabriel F. Mercado, Kian Miguel F. Mercado, Justinne Lara Sembrano, Kyle Christian Sembrano, and McLaurence A. Fondevilla; and siblings, Ismael Capuno, Nena Reyes, Oliva Edillon and Romeo Capuno. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Leopoldo Laurel, Maria De Mesa, Fransico Capuno, and Mario Capuno.
