George was born on March 26, 1931 and passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018. George was a resident of Burlington, North Carolina at the time of passing. He graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1959 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Katrinak joined the U.S. Air Force in 1952 during the Korean War and served until 1956. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, P O Box 619, Burlington, NC 27216.

My prayers go out to George's family. I worked with him for several years at AT&T in Burlington, NC and always enjoyed his wry sense of humor. He was a great engineer and a nice co-worker.
