George was born on July 4, 1923 and passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. George was a resident of Rich Hill, Missouri at the time of passing. George served his country in the Navy during WWII. Those left to cherish his memory include daughter, Cathy (Leroy) Gray; 2 grandchildren, Christy (Luke) Henry, Tony Ray; 2 great-grandchildren, Andreja and Eli; as well as his 4 step-children and their families he loved as his own, Don (Cathy) Bolander; Joe (Cathi) Bolander, Charlotte (Terry) Mertens, Carolyn (Mike) Ruiz and 8 grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 6-8 PM with services at 10 AM, Wed. Burial with military honors to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Gashland Baptist Church.
