George E. Peppelman

George Edward Peppelman, 89, sadly on January 25, 2021 beloved husband of 68 years to Mary (née Pharo), beloved father of George Edward Jr., Mary Ann Blankenship, Deborah Wartman (James), Barbara Jean Schreiner (Joseph), Nancy Wichowski (John) and Patricia Hallman (J. Dwayne). Cherished Grandfather of George E. III, Nicole, Steven, Ashlee, Danielle, Kristen, the late Jason, Ronald, J.D., Emilee, Joseph and Jack. Great Grandfather to 6 boys and 5 girls. George was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many. George was born and raised in the Kensington and Olney neighborhoods of Philadelphia. He and Mary raised their six children on Ridgefield Road in Far Northeast Philadelphia for over 30 years, and was a well respected and loved neighbor. Former parishioner of Our Lady Of Calvary Catholic Church. George was the self employed owner of Peppelman and Son Heating and Air Conditioning. He was later employed as an HVAC mechanic for Salem Harbour Apartments. In 2000, George and Mary moved to the La Casa community in North Port, Florida where they resided until June 2020. He made many friends wherever he went. George passed peacefully after a short battle with Covid19. He is resting in peace with his Lord and the Blessed Mother, who he loved and prayed to on his knees every day. George will be missed by all. Due to the current pandemic, services and internment will be held at a later date.
