Gilbert was born on April 2, 1934 and passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019. Gilbert was a resident of West Greenwich, Rhode Island at the time of passing. He served during peacetime in the United States Army in Iceland. His Funeral Service will be held at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on Saturday, July 20 at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Calling hours will be on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to EWG LL, PO Box 371, Exeter, RI 02822. Mark, Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember when your dad would come in to the office. He was a very nice man. I remember you saying what a hard worker he was.
