Halean W. O'Klock, 86, of Colona, IL, died March 27, 2008 at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Halean was born March 23, 1922 in East Moline to Harold and Luella Mae (Houston) Waddell She married Max O'Klock on October 23, 1940 in Joliet, IL. Halean was a member of Serbian Orthodox Church, Joliet where she was baptized. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed camping, traveling, crocheting, sewing and cooking. She especially enjoyed visiting with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by Husband Max Colona Children Pamela O'Klock-Stein (Ed) San Jose, CA Max O'Klock, Jr. (Cheryl) Jay, FL Danny O'Klock (Diane) Pequot Lakes, MN Mikel O'Klock (Ann) Moline Taryn Schultz (Bruce) Pequot Lakes, MN 9 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Kenneth. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all of you as you adjust to life without Halean. She was a dear sweet lady and we always enjoyed visiting with her on our trips to see Max and Cheryl. God Bless all of you.
