I'm sorry to her the passing of a great man. I remember the days at Joliet Catholic High in his Spanish class. He was a great teacher and took the extra time to work with each student if needed. I always enjoyed the banana chips he would bring to class on special occasions. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

I'm so sorry to read about Hector's passing...my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I will always remember his warmth as my across-the-street neighbor when I lived at Glenwood & Wilcox Streets, and his always friendly personality. He dearly loved his family, and made a positive impact on many in his adopted hometown of Joliet. He will be missed!

My sincere condolences to Hector's family. I truly enjoyed the 4 years he taught me Spanish at JCHS. He was a very good man. He always had that unforgettable smile. Im sure he is in a special place. Sincerely, Larry Hausser class of 72.
