Irene Forment

Irene (Rolla) Forment, 76, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. Born April 21, 1934 in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Anna and Joseph Rolla. She was married to her late husband, Charles Forment. Irene was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and the Sacred Heart School of Nursing. She worked for many years as a RN at Allentown State Hospital, Cedarbrook and Holy Family Manor. Irene also worked as a sales associate for 10 years for Rite Aid retiring in 2007. She was an avid "Betty Boop" collector, enjoyed old movies, loved animals and lived up to her Hungarian heritage in the way she cooked. Irene was always there to lend a helping hand. She was a very giving and caring woman who lived each day to the fullest. Our "little Reenie" will be loved in our hearts as she has blessed the lives of all who knew her. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Karen VanGorden-Forment, son, Michael Forment, sister, Shirley Posavek, with whom she resided, brother, Bill Posavek, Sr. all are of Bethlehem. Irene is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. SERVICES A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 12:00 PM at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
