Jane Begani

Jane was born on December 9, 1934 and passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017. Jane was a resident of Pennsylvania at the time of passing. Together they had five children and raised them in locations in both the U.S. and Europe as John served in the U.S. Army through the Korean and Vietnam wars. Jane is survived by her five children (Debra Buffington, Craig Begani, Pam Begani, John Vincent Begani and Brenda Doane), two sisters (Ruth Detweiler and Margaret Magaro), one brother (Dean Ferree), two sons-in-law (David Buffington and Bob Doane), two daughters-in-law (Glennys Begani and Cami Begani), 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and others who were proud to call her "Grandma" and "Nana." Jane had an easy smile, a way with words and a fierce devotion to her family ... a devotion she constantly expressed with these warm words, "I love you more." A public visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 30, 10-11 a.m. with a service following at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Hummelstown Cemetery.
