John Albert Folke

John Albert Folke, 55, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017. He was born July 17, 1962 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, son of the late Floyd Folke and JoAnn (Heath) Folke. John was a member of the Lawrenceburg Eagles and St Johns Lutheran Church-Belair. John enjoyed life to the fullest. He worked as an Iron Worker at Smith Welding and Fabrication. He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Folke; 2 sons, Tyler Folke of Harrison, OH, Kyle Folke of Lawrenceburg, IN; step-daughter, Stephanie Davis; 3 brothers, Gary (wife Pam) Folke of Lawrenceburg, IN, Tom (wife Julie) Folke of Edgewood, KY, Bob Folke of Lawrenceburg, IN; and his girlfriend, Ollie Daniel. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Folke; and his wife, Sandra Folke. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 11 am to 1 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church - Belair. Funeral services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church - Belair, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 1 pm, with Pastor Matt Voyer officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery - Belair, Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the Family or St Johns Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
