John E. Litviak

John Edward Litviak Sr., age 66, of rural Lone Rock & Spring Green, formerly of Chicago died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Upland Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Dodgeville, Wisconsin after a long & courageous battle with illnesses. John was born July 20, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois the son of John E. & Josephine (Janik) Litviak II. John married Maria Cristina Navarro on September 20, 1997 in Spring Green, Wisconsin. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, & skiing. Survivors include his wife Cristina Litviak of Spring Green; a son, John Edward (Mary) Litviak IV of Spring Green; a daughter, Carmella (Thomas) Ludwig I of Chicago; a granddaughter, Elizabeth (Zachary) Gieck of Lone Rock; 2 grandsons, John Edward Litviak V of Spring Green, Thomas Ludwig II of Chicago; a great grandson, Kaleb Gieck of Lone Rock; other relatives & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Spring Green Community Church with visitation starting at 2:00 PM and Pastor Kendall Hartger officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family. Also, A Funeral Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the St. Matthews Catholic Church 1555 Glen Ellgin Rd., Glendale Heights, Illinois 60139.
