I'm so sorry John has left this life but at least now he's at peace. I will always remember him as one of my daughters closest friends. Wish we had known about the memorial. I would've made sure we got there. Cheryl I know how you're feeling. My prayers are with you.

I am so sad he has left us all. He was an amazing person full of life and adventure. My two sons Jordan and Nicholas would spend hours with Johnny learning self defense and sharpening knives and swords. He use to call my daughter "Greenhead" because she would dye her hair different colors so much that it turned green, that name stuck with her till this day even as an adult, he always called her Greenhead. He lived with us off and on out in Palm Springs, Ca. We loved him so much and I am very grateful he was able to be in my wedding last December. I know it was not easy for him to fly out but he did it because he wouldn't miss it for the world. We talked just about everyday and he always called me "kid", his last message to me was October 13, 2021 and all it said was "luv u kid". We had plans to build a "house on wheels" for him and I think my boys and I will still do that. I know he will get a kick out of it. Maryann, I know you are a strong woman with a big heart and I just want you to know that you raised a good man who loved you very much. I'm sure it was not an easy job for you and even him as an adult could be a bit wild.. But you did good and I want to thank you for raising such an honorable man with the biggest heart I've ever seen. I feel blessed to have known him and I can't wait to see him again.

John was my neighbor for many years. He always intrigued me with his stories as he had a very adventurous life! Even when things were tough, he never gave up - he was a fighter and had a heart bigger than himself. He was a meticulous painter - One day, I asked him for some tips on painting a closet, and he insisted on painting it and had it done in about fifteen minutes! I pray he has eternal peace and that his adventures will continue in the beyond. Rest In Peace, friend.

We are heartbroken at the loss of my cousin, John. Although we did not get to see him often, he was always very sweet whenever we did see each other. I always thought of him as a guy with a tough exterior but a soft heart. May he now Rest In Peace with all of the family and friends that have gone before him.
