John J. Morbitzer

John Joseph Morbitzer, 1942-2022, beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Scully) Morbitzer for 60 years. Loving father of Mary Tina Coyle and John Paul Morbitzer (Deirdre). Proud grandfather of LCDR Frank G. Coyle (Kelly), Alexandra C. Coyle and John William Morbitzer. Delighted great grandfather of Nina and Giuliana Coyle. Dear brother of Margaret (Ed) Emmerling. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 79 years of age. A celebration of John's life will be held this summer. John had a love of everything outdoors. He enjoyed many great friendships from his adventures throughout his life. He was an explorer that liked traveling with family or on his own. He was a lifelong practitioner of social distancing. He could always be found either taking pictures of wildlife or treasure hunting with his metal detector.
