Joseph Patrick Corriere

WORCESTER- Joseph Patrick Corriere, 65, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022 at home. He was born in Worcester on December 18, 1956 a son of the late Joseph B. and Catherine (Noonan) Corriere. Joseph attended local schools and following his graduation from Worcester Boys Trade School he enlisted in the US Army National Guard and later served his country in the United States Air Force. Upon his discharge from the military, Mr. Corriere began a thirty-year career working in the custodial department for the Worcester Public School System until his retirement. Joe was a very social and outgoing man who enjoyed time spent with friends at Breens Café. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and a steadfast supporter of charities that encouraged youth education and development. He leaves behind his siblings, Linda A. Corriere and Maryellen Corriere, both of Worcester, Daniel P. Corriere and his wife, Deana of Virginia Beach, VA and Nancy J. Corriere of Goldsboro, NC.; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Family and friends will celebrate Joe's life with visiting hours on Wednesday, May 18th from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A funeral service will begin at 6:00pm with military honors to conclude.
