Joseph Pogorelec, Jr, age 65, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at his home in Beaver Dam.

Visitation for Joseph will be at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, 131 East Maple Avenue in Beaver Dam, on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM where a rosary service will be held at 6:45 PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 8, 2014 with closing services at Koepsell Murray Funeral Home on Maple Avenue at 10:30 AM to St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Fr. Vince Kobida will officiate. Burial will be at St. Michael''s Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

Joseph Pogorelec was born on July 30, 1948 in Frydman, Poland to Joseph and Mary (Mysliwiec) Pogorelec. He graduated from the Trenton School for the Deaf in New Jersey. Joseph was a wonderful artist who drew many pictures.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Pogorelec of Beaver Dam; two sisters, Helena (Pierre) Adamczak of Beaver Dam and Mary Whitzell of Florida; four brothers, Eugene (Candace) Pogorelec of Beaver Dam, John (Susan) Pogorelec of Wayne, NJ, Andrew (Connie) Pogorelec West Milford, NJ, and Stephen (Maria) Pogorelec of Beaver Dam; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph and his brother, Frank Pogorelec.
