I am so saddened to read about Karins passing. Karin was my nurse in 1994 when I was a young kid in the hospital. She was a bright spot in an otherwise dark and difficult time. Karin has a lot to do with why I became a nurse today. I give thanks and will keep her in my memory as I care for patients in her honor.

Prayers to the family who love and miss our good friend Karin! We loved her a lot and spoke to her often. Right now we are working on our December trip to Disney World and we miss talking about Disney World with her. It was a pleasure to have someone who loved Disney as we did. Love to you all!

Just heard about what happened. I am so sorry about everyone's loss who knew Karen. I worked with her on pediatrics at the old Maine General and she had a loving spirit when dealing with children. Her laugh was infectious and she was a pleasure to work with. May she rest now in God's hands.

Karin was a really nice person and a great advocate for many. I didn't know her well but I went to a NAMI convention that she also attended, and I was amazed at her energy and commitment. I'm so sorry for your loss.
