Kurt Rickheit Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 21, 2009.
Rick was born on November 10, 1963 and passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2009, surrounded by loving family, after sucoming the battle to cancer which he fought for almost a year. He graduated from a Worcester high school, he then attended Central Texas College. Rick worked at Rotmans Furniture in Worcester for many years, and was very happy with the people that surrounded him. Until he could no longer work anymore, that was his life, and that made him happy. He served his nation in the United States Army and served in the Middle East. He was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Hand Grenade Expert Badge, M16 Rifle Expert Badge, The Army Achievement Medal, Expert Infantryman Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the Multi National Forces Medal. He is survived by his wife, and loving sons, Adam and Michael Boaz. For many years, Rick has always been caring, and kind. He looked after Michael and I as we were his own sons, and to this day he is still known in our hearts as "Daddy." We miss you so much, god bless, were glad your not suffering anymore. Even after the passing of my mom, he was always there for us, even when he was sick, and that means the world to my brother and I.
