I just finished our Bible Study group meeting, and a mutual acquaintance of Van's and myself advised me of Van's passing in September. I was so shocked to hear this. My heart goes out to you and your family, Norma. I enjoyed working with you and Van for 15 years representing VANTEK communications. You folks were the nicest people I have ever worked for. Van was a Godly man, and I have a peace knowing he is with
our Lord eternally.

I was a student of LeMar at USD Springfield. I took Electronic Communications from him and he was my favorite teacher in college. My sympathies to all of the family on your loss of this great man and teacher.

I've known Van for 30+ years and not a single minute spent in his presence was wasted. He was smart and funny and insightful and never without a smile. It is my loss that I didn't seek him out more often. Losing him is huge and his absence will surely leave a hole in many people's lives. Norma, you have my profound sympathy and love.
