Leon was born on October 25, 1923 and passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Leon was a resident of Gillette, Wyoming at the time of his passing. He graduated in 1941. he joined the Navy and entered WWII on December 23, 1942.'. He was married to Lucille. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Redfield, SD.' Father Gregg Frankman will celebrate the mass.' Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Zell.' Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-5:30 PM at Thelen-Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield with a Scriptural Rosary at 5:30 PM.
