Leonel Eugenio "Leo" Saenz, Jr., 40 unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at his residence in Houston. Leo was born on November 16, 1972 in Houston to Leonel Eugenio Saenz, Sr. and Sofia Lopez Saenz. A loving son, brother, uncle, and friend Leo leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Sofia Saenz, sisters Leonora Saenz-Garcia and husband Paul and Leonor Saenz-Cruz and her husband Rick; nieces Alexandrea Saenz, Olivea Garcia, Arianah Garcia, Arabella Cruz, and Tatiana Cruz and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonel E. Saenz, Sr. in 2002. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, January 3, 2013 beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Friday, friends may call beginning at 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. Those wishing to do so will have an opportunity to share a personal memory of Leo on Friday at 5:00 P.M. A Vigil is to begin at 6:30 P.M. followed by a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 915 Runneberg, Crosby, Tx 77532 with Rev. Arnel Barrameda, celebrant. The Rite of Committal will be held in San Jacinto Memorial Park, Beltway 8 at I-10 East.
