Linda Hartlep Obituary

Linda passed away in April 2018. Linda was a resident of Sycamore, Illinois at the time of passing. During World War II, Edward was a medic in the Royal Army and spent 3 years as a Japanese prisoner of war and during this time, Linda drove an ambulance in the streets of Birmingham, England assisting people from the bombings of Germany. Visitation will be on Thursday April 19, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave. Sycamore, IL 60178. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, at 10:00 AM at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 218 Somonauk St. Sycamore, IL with Father James Clement officiating. Burial will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday at Tinley Park Memorial Cemetery next to her first husband, Edward. Memorials can be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church in care to the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178.
