Madeleine LeProux

Madeleine (Tissier) LeProux, 89, of Acton, MA, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009 at Kindred Hospital, Waltham, MA. She was the wife of the late Emmanuel J. LeProux who died in 1997. Madeleine was born in Les Cotes D'Arey, France, and is survived there by her sister, Marie Therese Jourdan and her husband Paul Jourdan, and their children, Francoise and Pierre. Mrs. LeProux was also a long time resident of Concord, MA, where she worked for many years at the Cheese Shop on Walden St., with her loyal friends, Bill and Louise Barber. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Galya, and her husband, Donald, of Westford, MA, and by her son, Louis LeProux, of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Claire Galya of Norwich, VT, Colleen Galya of Amherst, MA, Paul LeProux and his wife, Alice, of Richmond, VA, and by Gail and Larry. She has three great grandchildren, Lucas, Jonathan, and Alefaire all of Richmond.
