Marlys was born on March 2, 1929 and passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018. Marlys was a resident of Argusville, North Dakota at the time of passing. A Gathering of Friends for Marlys will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN. Her Memorial Service will be Monday, June 4, 2018, at 11:00 AM, in Nora Lutheran Church, rural Gardner, ND. Burial will be in Nora Lutheran Cemetery. Just heard about Marlys passing. I played in the Nedrebo band with Marlys for a number of years. She was a very positive and good natured person. Always had a smile on her face. I called her "Mother" quite often.
She was a fantastic singer and loved to entertain. Truly a bright spot in my life.
