Martha (nee Hattenfield) Benesole

Benesole (nee Hattenfield) Martha, originally of Croydon, PA, but most recently of Bradenton, FL, passed away on September 27th, 2020 at the age of 90. Martha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. What she loved most of all was spending time with her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Benesole; devoted mother of John (Miriam) Benesole, Steve (Diane) Benesole, Susan (Peter) Penico and the late Scott Benesole; loving grandmother of Christine, Julie, Philip, Jesse, Evan, Jackie, Jade, and Yasmine; loving great grandmother of Winter, Hudson, and Madison; and beloved sister of George Hattenfield, and Eileen Stout. Martha worked as a secretary for Pennsbury High school and was a long time member of Calvary Baptist church in Bristol. In her retirement years Martha and Jack moved closer to her mother and daughter in Fl where she enjoyed playing golf with her husband and sister, reading and boating. She became an expert needle-pointer. Her grandchildren still talk about Grandma's Thanksgiving Meals and how much fun it was to have sleepovers at grandma and grandpa's house with their cousins. Family and friends are invited to Martha's Life Celebration at the Dunn-Givnish Funeral Home, 378 S. Bellevue Ave, Langhorne, PA 19047, on Saturday, October 10th, from 10 – 11 AM. Services will follow at 11 AM. Interment services will take place at Forest Hills Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Martha's name to The American Kidney Fund or Habitat for Humanity
