I worked for Marvin at Jennifer Dale for three years. I learned a lot about leadership from him; he was decisive and caring. Even though it was nearly 40 years ago, I still remember him well. Arlyne LeSchack

I worked for Marvin almost 40 years ago, but never forgot his executive skills, kindness, and caring. Sorry I didn't hear of his passing until now. Please accept my condolences. Sincerely, Arlyne LeSchack

Marvin was a wonderful Board member of Council of Senior Centers and Services, now Live On NY. His wise counsel, creativity and enthusiasm were greatly admired and and appreciated. We all benefited from his generous sharing of his talent. I so enjoyed knowing and working with him during my tenure on the Board. My sincere condolences to Carol and his entire family. Wanda Wooten

Those who met Marvin will never forget him. He was extraordinary in every way. We were lucky to have him as a member of our family and a guide for how to live a meaningful and full life. And we will vote.

It was always so heart warming and endearing to be greeted by Marvin and Carole at meetings of The Society! What an honor to have known such a remarkable man whose encouragement and memories will stay with me always. My love, sympathy and prayers for all.

Marvin was like a second father to me. A kind, gentle man who was larger than life, he inspired all who were lucky enough to know him.

Marvin was so much more than the sum of his achievements of which there were many. His overwhelming love for life, learning and his family were reflected in the little things - the phone calls to give advice, the lunches with his grandkids, the words of encouragement which made you feel you could tackle any problem, his ken-kens which kept him sharp as a tack, and the time he took to engage and help anyone who needed him. His loss leaves a big void in our lives and we miss him dearly. Grandpa Big' as he was known to his Dutch grandkids noa, maya and Dalia, made a huge impact on our lives for which we are forever grateful. We love you Marvin!

Marvin was a force of nature: smart, creative, and with a super-abundance of energy and drive. Some of his sayings; Go and see or Make a decision are like Zen for people in the real world of complexity and difficulties.
