To Matt and all his family and friends, I wish to extend my deepest sympathies, prayers and love regarding his tragic and greatly premature death. I live out of state and I clearly didn't receive the news of his passing in a timely fashion; I am, nonetheless, very shocked and saddened by its fact. I have known Matt for nearly 30 years, he was not quite a high school graduate when I was in college but we shared the same ethics, social passions, musical obsessions, art aesthetics and an overall tilted view of the world we loved passionately. I FOUND- a kindred spirit in Matt and while I saw him less frequently as we got older, I held him in the highest esteem and I held him in my heart. I wish this had not happened, I hope to meet him again some day.
