Moke and I grew up together on the No Cheyenne Rez! We were teammates on a team that was undefeated for 3-years and got invited to travel with the Harlem Clowns to Southeast Asia for a month on a basketball tour! He accomplished this with one lung! Our paths did not cross for years, but I kept track of his amazing work helping Native people living in urban areas. He never forgot our Cheyenne Way of Life and our beautiful ceremonies. My brother, I'm proud of your legacy and will miss you and remember you...I'll pray for your loved ones to carry on your hopes and dreams...

Moke was so much more than a friend. He was a civic and spiritual leader, partner and lover of human kind. His soul was genuinely beautiful. We loved his slow laugh, slow walk and mindful way of life.
He has meant so much to our family. In times of distress and celebration he was a constant. He guided our sons to be better than they believed they could be. Chuck and I will always be grateful.
