Michael George Stergos

Michael George Stergos, 82, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Robin Johnson House, Dallas, North Carolina. He was born on July 15, 1938 in Tarpon Springs, Florida and is the son of the late George M. and Erine Milissi Stergos. Michael is a member of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Tarpon Springs, Florida. He is a member and former Lt. Governor of AHEPA in Tarpon Springs. He is a member of the American Legion and former Boy Scout Leader. Michael is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol Hooks Stergos; one son, George Michael Stergos of Tampa; one step-son, Ken Bennett (Susan) of Cape Coral, Florida; one step-daughter, Amy Soeder (Dallas) of Lutz, Florida; one sister, Mary Rogers, Tampa; 3 grandchildren, Christina Johnson (Larry); Steven Bennett; Philip Austin; 5 great grandchildren, Grant Johnson, Chloe Johnson, Savannah Johnson, Laylah Johnson, Oliva Bennett. Services will be private and at a later date.
