I will miss you terribly Nick - this not only shocks me but breaks my heart. My only hopes are that you are laughing and joking again with my Dad whom I know you missed almost as much as me.

To Nick's family: I am so sorry, you have lost a unique irreplaceable person who I know loved you all very much.

Dear Marianne,
My heart is heavy with this loss. I just spent an evening this past fall sitting next to Nick at our yearly get together at Sammies. I learned more than I ever knew about Nick's life and I was impressed to say the least. I am just so sad right now. I will never forget Nick. Know I am thinking of you and all of Nick's family members and hoping your memories of him help to console you through this journey of loss.

I will sincerely miss Nick. We go back to 1961. Drag racing cars, High School football together, just a wonderful, very funny friend. We drove to the first Gatornationals Drag race in 1970 to Gainsville Florida and raced Fred's Catalina. Nick really enjoyed the Grapefruit wine we purchased ! :)
My sympathy to all his family. John (Jip) Pavkov

To Nicks Loved Ones:

I am very sorry for your loss. Nick and I worked against each other for several years and later we worked on the same side in doing negotiations. He was one of those guys that could do both and still be friendly to whomever was involved. In spite of his gruff appearing mannerisms he was really just a teddy bear. I am unable to attend the services but want to send a note of my respect and friendship. Nick's presence and consul will be missed by many that came in contact with him. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Marianne, sorry for your loss.
I played on some of the same high school sports teams as Nick and recall his great sense of humor.

There was and will only be one Nick in my high school years and that one was Nick Codrrea. He tried to be so tough but was a Teddy Bear underneath. He will be missed and remembered by anyone who knew him.

I loved playing poker with Nick at the Sons Of Herman in Akron. He had a great sense of humor. He will be missed.
