Aunt Connie was perceptive, exacting, forth-right. She was an extremely smart young woman, but the Depression changed all college plans. When hired by Union Pacific Railroad, they hired a gem. As the sisters married and had children, she continued to watch out for her two younger sisters. Their bi-monthly luncheons were highlights. Everyone who knew Aunt Connie, knew she was a gracious and interested-in-others person.

I will miss my good friend and neighbor. Connie was the first person to welcome my husband and me to the neighborhood when we moved into the house across the street. Know that my prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

Sincerely, Marge McGuire
