I am very sorry to hear of Paul's passing. His son Jeff and I were good friends back in Holdrege and of course I got to know Paul through elementary and Jr. High PE as well as an assistant coach with my dad. I have very vivid memories of him cracking the plaster when he'd join us for war ball, and the giggles he'd get when he sprayed Nitrotan on our scrapes. I had the Jr. High record for most pull ups for about an hour and he patted me on the back and was very proud of my accomplishment. He toughened us all up for sure. I can't imagine what my adolescent years would be like without him. I wish Jeff, Mike and Karen nothing but the best
