Mr. Paul Spodar

PAUL SPODAR, age 88 of New Port Richey, Fl. formerly of Seven Hills, Oh.. Beloved husband of the late Anne (nee Sheyka), devoted father of Ronald (wife Dottie), Sharon and Ray, loving grandfather of Ryan and Derek Spodar, dear brother of Emil (deceased) and Edward Spodar (wife Lucy, deceased) . Paul proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps as a Staff Sgt. in WWII. When flying over Germany he was shot down and became a POW. He was a life member of the VFW, American Legion and the Buckeye Barbwire. He retired from the Cleveland Fire Dept. and moved down to Florida where he served as Vice President of the Ukrainian National Club of New Port Richey Fl. Passed away on Sunday October 3, 2010. Funeral service at St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, 7700 Hoertz Road, Parma on Friday October 8, 2010 at 11AM. Entombment to follow.
