Randy was one of the nicest guys I have ever met, and I mean a real nice guy. Not some kind of fake nice but real, with a smile big as the world. I wish that everyone could be as nice as him. Easy to talk to and fun to be around. A genuine good guy that will be missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace Randy.

My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Tina and the kids And to Floyd , Irene, Renee, Jon and their families also. Harv was my best childhood friend growing up We did everything together His folks would bring me along on ski trips, state fair, and alot of their family trips. Floyd gave me my 1st real job that I made actual money! They are family to me and I would like all of them to know how grateful I am for everything. Thank you.
Harv and I drifted apart since 81 when i left on a bike trip and ended up in AZ But whenever i came back somewhere we bump into each other and have a beer and reminise bout old times and laugh alot. He was truly a great guy God bless you Harv.... I love you bro ...

My deepest sympathy to Tina and the kids, Floyd and Irene, and extended family and friends. Randy was a great friend to me and many others. I too had the pleasure of being in the same class of '80, and had many great memories with Randy. I remember giving him a ride to either the store or home after school many days and shared many of laughs together. In the more recent years, we didn't see as much of each other as I had wished but then we all have our own families and lives going on. I will forever remember Randy by that same smile and laugh of his. Just remember, the body may die but his spirit will live on forever in our hearts. He will be watching from his Heavenly home over all of you! God Bless you all and Rest in Peace my old friend. See you on the other side!

My condolences to Randy's family and all who knew him. It was with great sorrow I learned of his passing. As a fellow member of the Class of 1980 my main memory of Randy is from Middle School, where my thoughts of him are as being a gentle giant. I'd only talked to him a couple times in the intervening years, but I will always remember him as a great guy. He will be missed.

Tina, Karen, Amanda & Garrett, Very sorry for your loss. I'll always remember Randy's big smile and laugh.

First, I my heart goes out to you Tina. I've known you nearly as long as Harv, well before you two got together. I know you love with your whole self and your whole self is hurting so badly right now. There is also so much pain to see your children and grandchildren feel the same loss.

I haven't seen Harv in 25-30 years, but still remember his laughter. How he would make people laugh and more comfortable even in those places where there wasn't much to be happy about. He loved to have fun and brought fun to everyone around him. Our hearts are VERY heavy, but someday not to long for some of us we will hear that infectious laughter again. Continue to make people happy where you are my dear friend, this world will miss you!

Randy "Harv" inadvertently had a huge impact on my life: When I was in 5th grade my mom allowed me to go downhill skiing with her group of friends... Harv patiently stayed on the bunny hill with my sister and I while the rest of the group went off to ski. I recall his great kindness and knowledge, as he watched me ski and gave pointers. Indeed, with his guidance, I learned to love to ski! After Val Chatel closed when I was in the 8th grade, I longed for a skiing partner. A few years after high school, I met such a partner and married him! We even downhill skied on our honeymoon! Today, while saddened by the loss, I ponder a gratitude that we were blessed with Harv on this earth. These photos were pulled from my mom's old box of photos with the hope that his family and friends may enjoy them. I pray that we may find peace and joy in these sweet memories. He was a great guy! God bless.
