I was stunned and still shocked upon hearing about this tragic event. I remember playing with Randy with Out to Lunch band a few years back. He was one of the best guitarist I played with. Rest in Peace my dear friend. Steve Lesner and Karen Kaczanowski

Claire, Tommy, Chris, Michael and family, we have such a sense of loss and a deep hole in our hearts since hearing of the passing of Randy. Our families have been so entwined over so many years. Celebrations of weddings, picnics and parties, and of course, the downsides of family meetings and greetings, funerals, illnesses and sickness. Gene and I have all the love and understanding of what you are going through right now, and I must tell you that I wish I could take your pain and suffer it for you, but that is not how the grieving of a parent works. Randy was a wonderful and talented human being who loved children and teaching them in a way that I have not seen many men his age handle. He could teach any kid music, manners and respect all in one sitting. We wrote each other and talked on the cell ever since Roger got very sick and, I came to know a side of Randy that I hadn't met just at family gatherings. For that, I will forever be grateful. He was a quick witted, sarcastic when he wanted to be, but outright fun person who was a talent to be reckoned with. I always felt that his big break was just around the corner. He was a dedicated person to his passions, his music, cat, girlfriend of course and his family. He would talk to me of his future and you were always a part of his decision making process. All of us will miss him, but all of us were Blessed that we had him for a short time in our lives. I am glad that although he had not been in his best condition in the past few months, that he did not suffer severely as he passed, and that it was obviously quick and loving. I bet that Paul,Roger and Raymond were right there with him as he rocked his way over the bridge to God's heaven. Our love is with you always, and if there is anything we can do, just call. Nancy and Gene
