Robert Anthony Patrick Picetti

Robert Anthony Patrick Picetti was born at home in San Francisco California where he grew up with his older brother John and younger sister Sharon. The middle child to John and Mary, Robert also had two half siblings, Ronald and Julia. As a youth Robert had an affection for Christmas that continued with gusto throughout his life. He attended Mission High School where he played baseball and developed a deep love and appreciation for cars, owning several different classics along the way. Robert, who as a young adult now became more commonly referred to as "Bob" met his future wife Pamela at a birthday party for a mutual friend. They courted for a year and a half before tying the knot in September 1963. Together they had two daughters, Jennifer in 1970 and Valerie in 1972. Bob was a hard working, DEVOTED family man who's main joy in life was spending time with his family. A machinist by trade he thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie he experienced being a member of the Machinists Union. Bob was also an active member of the San Mateo Bobby Sox Association where he coached his girls softball teams while his wife handled the managing duties. The family also enjoyed yearly summer vacations to South Shore Lake Tahoe and Disneyland where they often traveled with extended family in tow. Always wanting "a boy" Bob finally got his wish when along came his two amazing grandsons, Dayna in 1992 and Giovanni in 2008. Needless to say, Bob doted on these two "Grandson's" of his, often disobeying his daughters instructions and spoiling them rotten. He wouldn't have had it any other way, as they were the "Apple's Of His Eyes"!! Bob was deeply loved and very well cared for through out his life. First and foremost by his loving and devoted wife Pamela, followed by his daughters and grandsons as well as his sister in law Mary Ellen and nephews Tony and Paul. "Uncle Bob" was the surrogate father to many over the years, the consummate rock we could always count on to be sitting in his favorite spot on the couch. Bob is survived by his wife Pamela, daughters Jennifer and Valerie, grandsons Dayna and Giovanni, sister Sharon, sister in law Mary Ellen, brother in law Jeff, nephews Tony, Paul and Frank, great nephew Ethan and Rachael, significant other to grandson Dayna.
