Robert Consbrock

Robert Clayton Consbrock, 93, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 8:40 p.m. at the Donnellson Health Center. He was born on January 31, 1917 in Fort Dodge, IA to Benjamin F. & Edith Woolever Consbrock. In 1936 Robert married Dorothy Dearing and she passed away on December 22, 1979, he then married Wilma Burgdorff on January 31, 1982 and she passed away on August 3, 1995. He retired from the Sheaffer Pen Company with 46 years of service. He was a former member of the First Christian Church in Fort Madison and a member of the Fort Madison Moose Lodge. Bob is survived by: 1-son: Richard and wife Norma Consbrock of Hot Springs Village, AR; 1-daughter: Janet and husband Larry Judy of Salem, OR; 3-grandsons: Jim Consbrock of Niota, IL, Allan Consbrock of Marysville, WA & Brian Consbrock of Memphis, MO; 1-granddaughter: Kathy Pack of Salem, OR; 5-great grandchildren and longtime friend, Esther Dannenbring of Burlington. He was preceded in death by: his parents, both wives, 2-sisters & 1-granddaughter: Kara Sue. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 with the funeral service to be held at 2:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev.
