Roger Kellbach, 78, of Wausau, died Friday February 1, 2008 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.

Roger was born on July 20, 1929 at his parents home in Granite Heights to the late Elmer and Adly (Anderson) Kellbach.  After graduating high school, he attended Chicago Tech and received his drafting certification.  On August 4, 1948, Roger was united in marriage to Oranell Thurs in Town of Hamburg.  Roger and Oranell celebrated fifty-nine wonderful years together.

Roger was a very quiet loving man who always put his family and friends before himself.  Throughout his life, Roger supported his children, grandchildren, and in later years his great-grandchildren.  Nothing made him happier than to have the family gathered together at home or sporting events.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife, Oranell; children, Kay (Charles) Kellbach-Sims of Milwaukee, Karen Kellbach of Wausau, Michelle (Matthew) Urmanski of Weston, and Michael Kellbach of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Alicia (Darnell) Johnson of Milwaukee, Amy Sims of Milwaukee, Brandon (fiancé, Jenny Nicol) Kellbach of Crestwood, IL; and great-grandchildren, Marcus Love Jr., Markell Love, Gabrielle Urmanski, and Hannah Urmanski.  He is also survived by his brother, Thomas (Kay) Kellbach of Wausau; sister, Grace (Eugene) Seidler of Rhinelander; aunt, Ruth Kelbach of Racine; special family friend, Bob (Sue) Doede of Wausau; and many more nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Helke Funeral Home in Wausau.  Pastor Gerald Morris will be officiating.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM on Tuesday at Helke Funeral Home and last until the time of services.  Burial will follow at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Aspirus Oncology, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Dr. Ahuja and all those who cared for Roger during his time of illness for their exceptional care and support.
