Rosalind Zoblotsky, 72, of Hot Springs Village, died Sunday, September 12, 2010. Born July 10, 1938 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Ezra and Harriet Samson Feldman, she was a member of the Congregational House of Israel of Hot Springs. She was a 1956 graduate of Fouchier High School in New Orleans. It was always her dream to move to Arkansas from New Orleans. Rosalind loved estate sales and was able to enjoy other activities the Village had to offer. Rosalind was a grateful organ transplant recipient, thanks to the skill of the Tulane Organ Transplant Center. She enjoyed 12 ½ years, thanks to the family who provided the organ transplant and Dr. Fred Regenstein. Survivors include her husband, Harry Zoblotsky of Hot Springs Village; four daughters and sons-in-law, Lauran and Mike Canatella of Keller, Texas, Melissa and Thomas Wafer of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Shelly and Debryant McDuffie of New Orleans, Louisiana and Jennifer and David Soule of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one sister and brother-in-law, Caroline and John Baumann of Georgetown, Texas; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandson; one stepson, Todd Zoblotsky of Memphis, Tennessee and stepmother, Alma Jean Feldman of New Orleans, Louisiana. Graveside services will be 10:00 Wednesday at Jewish Rest Cemetery with Rabbi Jerome Fox officiating. Pallbearers will be Ross Wafer, Bryan Canatella, Michael Canatella, Justin McDuffie, Christopher O’Connor, Todd Zoblotsky, Luke Soule and Conner Soule. Visitation will be at the family’s residence, 51 Malaga Way, Hot Springs Village, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. after the service. Memorials may be made to The Village SPCA or Tulane Organ Transplant Foundation, P.O. Box 61075, New Orleans, LA 70161-9986. Gross Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
